The 99 represent the best that Airrus multimodular blank production ever expressed. The weight to power ratio of this series is effectively showed by the 9N721XHF-S model that weighs less than 95 grams* (without decals) with a 7´2" blank with a casting weight of 2oz. The 99 is a rod recommended to advanced users, that need the maximum from a product but also know how to treat an out of standard competition tool. The design process behind this fishing rod was pointed to optimization of performances of an oversized blank, and to link in it two different carbon fibers, with different features and different degress of elastic elongation. The result is a feather-weight rod with a very low percentage of resin content, which gives it an extraordinary quickness. The 99 uses Labs custom components designed for a perfect balance, an ergonomic reel seat and a multisegmented EVA foregrip for flawless grip in every situation. The guide scheme features the Fuji Torzite series with titanium frames.
